Stability. Native GHRH is rapidly cleaved by the enzyme DPP-IV, which cuts it near the N-terminus. Tesamorelin carries the same 44-residue sequence but adds a trans-3-hexenoic acid group at the N-terminus that blocks that cut, so it stays active far longer in research settings.
Both are GHRH analogs, but they differ in length and stability. Tesamorelin is the full 44-amino-acid hormone with a stabilizing modification, while sermorelin is a shortened 29-amino-acid version without it. That makes tesamorelin more resistant to enzymatic breakdown in comparative research.
Analysis places every lot at ≥99% by HPLC, with mass spectrometry confirming its identity. Each batch passes independent third-party testing before it leaves, and you can retrieve the certificate for your lot using the number printed on the vial.
