Three Labs Test Every Vial Before It Ships
Kylo Research Labs is a US research peptide supplier started in 2021 by a group of process chemists and QC analysts who made peptides before they sold them. Every batch is tested in our own lab, then verified by an independent ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory. We publish every COA, matched to the lot number printed on your vial.

Why We Started Kylo Peptides?
A research peptide is a white powder in a small glass vial. Nobody can tell a good one from a bad one by looking at it, so the certificate does all the talking. At a lot of companies, the people who made the batch are also the people who sign off on it.
We know how that works, because it used to be our job. We were process chemists and QC analysts at a contract manufacturer. We knew which batches ran clean and which ones gave us trouble all week. We saw how much solvent went into producing a few grams, and how far one batch could drift from the one before it.
None of that reached the customer. They got a number on a page and no way to check it.
Kylo is us doing the work the way we always argued it should be done. A tighter process, less waste, less variation between runs, and a signature on the certificate that belongs to someone outside this company.
Why Research Peptides?
Peptides have become one of the more productive areas of pharmacological research over the past fifteen years. More than 80 peptide-based therapeutics have cleared FDA approval, with several hundred more in clinical pipelines. The appeal is practical: peptides can hit targets with a precision small molecules struggle to match, and solid-phase synthesis for sequences up to roughly 40 amino acids is now mature enough to produce reproducibly at high purity.
The preclinical work underneath all of that depends on material that is clean, correctly identified, and consistent from batch to batch. Cell-based assays, receptor-binding studies, and in vitro pathway research inherit every flaw in the compound they start with. A study built on a mislabelled vial produces data nobody can use.
5 Tenets We Hold Ourselves to
Quality
Synthesis and lyophilization happen in the United States, under conditions we control and document. Our target is ≥99% purity on every released lot, and the running average across released lots is 99.6%. A batch that misses spec does not get relabelled or sold at a discount. It gets rejected.
Consistency
Same route, same suppliers, same conditions, every run. A vial from one batch should behave like a vial from the last one, because reproducible research depends on it and because we spent years watching what happens when a supplier lets that slip. Lot numbers are printed on every vial so you can tell your batches apart.
Independence
We test every batch in-house first, which catches problems early and keeps them off the truck. Then the same batch goes to Janoshik Labs and then Freedom Diagnostics, an independent ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory that has no stake in the outcome. We do not grade our own work, and no batch ships on our word alone.
Transparency
The certificate on a product page belongs to the batch in your vial, matched by lot ID. Nothing recycled between batches, nothing self-issued, nothing summarised into a screenshot. Every certificate carries an identifier from the testing lab that you can verify with them directly. When a lot is still in testing, the page says so.
Sustainability
Standard peptide synthesis consumes an enormous volume of solvent for a very small amount of product, and the bulk of it goes into washing steps. We run 2-MeTHF where the chemistry allows it, recover 78% of the solvent we use, and consume 40% less per gram than a conventional process. We aim to improve that figure with every batch.
Full Panel Test We Do For Every Lot
- PurityHPLC-UV, ≥99% target on every released lot
- IdentityConfirmed by LC-MS against expected mass
- Net contentMeasured peptide content per vial, reported on the certificate
- Heavy metalsICP-MS screen, not detected
- SterilityNo growth
- EndotoxinUSP <85> bacterial endotoxin, within limits
- DocumentationLot-matched certificate published in the public COA library
A batch is not released for sale until the full panel is on file.
What We Don't Do
We don't bundle consumables
Peptides ship on their own. Bacteriostatic water and syringes are listed separately, because packaging them together implies a use we don't support.
We don't publish effect testimonials
No reviews describing what a compound did for someone. These are research materials and aren't meant for anything else.
We don't chase viral compounds
A peptide doesn't get listed the week it starts trending. New additions run the same qualification as everything else, which takes as long as it takes.
We don't sell what we can't document
If a batch has no independent certificate, it stays off the site.
Questions We Get
- Does Kylo provide a certificate of analysis?Yes. Every batch is tested by an independent ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab, and that certificate is published on the product page with the batch number and test date.
- How do I verify a certificate is real? Each one carries a unique identifier issued by the testing laboratory. You can cross-reference it with the lab directly. If anything on a certificate looks inconsistent, email us and we will connect you with the lab contact.
- What does triple-verified mean?Every batch is tested thrice. Once in our own lab, so problems get caught before anything ships, once at Janoshik Labs, and once by an independent accredited laboratory whose report is the one we publish.
- Are these peptides for human use?No. Kylo peptides are supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research by qualified professionals. They have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
- How should these be stored?Lyophilized vials at -20°C, sealed and protected from light and moisture. After reconstitution with a sterile diluent, 2 to 8°C and used promptly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
